When you come to Ryde Dental Family, during your consultation, our dentist will first thoroughly examine your oral health and then discuss with you what type of dental implant you should get. Dental implants will be recommended to you only if you have lost one or more teeth or if your teeth are decayed or have cavities that need replacement.

Two-stage dental implant

• The traditional implant process begins with surgery to install implants, left for three to six months for healing and jawbone integration. Lower jaw healing takes up to three months, upper jaw up to six.
• A temporary prosthesis is given during healing, replaced by the permanent crown in the second stage. Despite its time and cost, it is the most established and reliable implant treatment protocol based on experience.

One-stage dental implant

• In a single-stage implant, our dentists place the implant in the jaw during one surgery, positioning its head at the gum level.
• This eliminates the need for a second surgery, promotes early osseointegration, and provides a quicker, more natural-looking result without the wait for bone healing required in traditional two-stage implants.

Immediate implant

• Immediate-loaded implants differ from conventional implants by immediately placing temporary crowns or bridges after surgery. The process involves assessing the implant site, preparing it, and placing the implant.
• This allows for immediate use of functional teeth, offering aesthetic benefits and a quicker, less discomforting treatment. Individual bone quality determines the feasibility of this approach. Post-surgery, patients may experience jaw soreness and gum tenderness but can resume normal activities within a day, avoiding strenuous exercise.
